RN, Surgery Center - Pre-op/PACU

About the role

Responsible and accountable for providing and directing individualized care from infant to geriatric patients based on established standards of nursing practice. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through clinical knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs
• Planning and implementing care plans
• Evaluating patient outcomes
• Managing personnel, supplies, and equipment in the surgical setting
• Promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel in other departments

Requirements

• Minimum Required Education: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse
• Preferred Education: BSN
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year Pre-op/PACU experience required

Qualifications

• Current nursing license to practice in the state of Virginia
• BLS certification upon hire
• ACLS and PALS certifications may be obtained within 90 days of hire date
