About The Department

The Brighton PreOp/PACUs are a combined 33-bay department located at neighboring Trinity Health Facilities. Brighton features 8 operating rooms and 2 procedural suites that average 50+ cases per day. The department's mission is to provide the highest-quality care to every patient requiring surgical intervention, both during preparation for surgery and recovery from anesthesia.

Service lines include Otolaryngology, Plastics, General Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Bariatrics, with an expected same-day discharge. Nursing staff are supported by department-based Anesthesiologists, and the facility holds the distinction of being a Robotic Center of Excellence. The department operates Monday-Friday for planned procedures and provides weekend on-call coverage for emergency cases.
