RN Staffing Coordinator (PRN Remote Nights) – CSO
About the role
Delivering exceptional patient care starts with strong staffing coordination. As a PRN Remote RN Staffing Coordinator with our Central Staffing Office, you'll support staffing operations across all 12 BJC hospitals while working alongside a highly collaborative team dedicated to ensuring the right caregivers are in the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates the delivery of safe and appropriate staffing across the system.
- Effectively responds to special circumstances and acts as the on-site leader.
- Assists with patient care operations and integration of services between hospitals.
- Provides guidance for balancing schedules and proactively staffing open shifts.
- Assists with clinical development of CSO staff, including observing and coaching staff in performance of clinical duties and interpersonal interactions and monitoring staff and compliance in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Functions as a liaison between Administration, Transfer Center and all hospitals and customers.
- Sure that staffing is to volume or designated workload and budgeted guidelines.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- 1+ year of nursing experience
- Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel
- Adaptable, resourceful, and team-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- Full-time onsite training at the BJC Learning Institute & BJC Commons during week one, followed by a requirement to work two onsite shifts per week for the first four weeks for training.

Scheduled for 36 hours per six-week schedule period
