About the role

Delivering exceptional patient care starts with strong staffing coordination. As a Part-Time Hybrid RN Staffing Coordinator with our Central Staffing Office, you'll support staffing operations across all 12 BJC hospitals while working alongside a highly collaborative team dedicated to ensuring the right caregivers are in the right place at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the delivery of safe and appropriate staffing across the system.
  • Effectively responds to special circumstances and acts as the on-site leader.
  • Assists with patient care operations and integration of services between hospitals.
  • Provides guidance for balancing schedules and proactively staffing open shifts.
  • Assists with clinical development of CSO staff, including observing and coaching staff in performance of clinical duties and interpersonal interactions and monitoring staff and compliance in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Functions as a liaison between Administration, Transfer Center and all hospitals and customers.
  • Safeguards the productivity and actions of the group to meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Makes sure staffing is to volume or designated workload and budgeted guidelines.

Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • 1+ year of nursing experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and team-oriented mindset

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience: 2-5 years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience: 5-10 years
  • Supervisor Experience
