About the role
WK Quick Care, a fast-paced urgent care center, is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Benton clinic in Palmetto Shreveport, LA.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans
- Assess and document patient needs and progress
- Implement care plans based on professional standards and patient needs
- Assist physicians in patient care
- Utilize and assess data to plan appropriate nursing care
- Adhere to hospital/departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in urgent care or emergency department preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of pediatric and geriatric patients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current CPR certification
