About the role
We provide direct care to adult or pediatric/neonatal patients undergoing various interventional procedures in our award-winning system.
Responsibilities
- Intervene in emergency situations when patient conditions change.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Operate complex physiologic recording computer systems.
- Maintain and retrieve patient records.
- Establish and maintain hemostasis at arterial access sites post-procedure.
- Monitor patients for bleeding complications.
- Prepare surgical trays, instruments, contrast media, and rooms for procedures.
- Assess and manage critically ill patients with complex heart disease.
- Provide constant monitoring of patients receiving moderate sedation.
- Identify and apply technical aspects of all equipment and supplies used in procedures.
- Develop and implement individual plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Accredited Program: Nursing
- ACLS American Heart E-Card
- BLS American Heart E-Card
- PALS American Academy of Pediatrics (PALS AAP)
- Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT)
- Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
