RN - Specialty II

This role requires critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment. Responsibilities include: Providing patient-centered care, adhering to department-specific protocols, and maintaining necessary certifications. Administering chemotherapy with ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certification and APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card within 12 months if applicable.Possessing Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for ICU, ED, PACU, Endoscopy, Telemetry, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas.Having Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for pediatric units, with a 30-day window for non-pediatric nurses to obtain certification.Acquiring Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification for NICU, if not previously held, within 30 days.Completing Fetal Monitoring certification for L&D nurses prior to completing orientation.Participating in an RN Fellowship Program, requiring one year of independent practice, with ACLS and BLS certifications, and a six-month window for newly licensed RNs to obtain ACLS and PALS. Qualifications include: Minimum of one year of nursing experience and relevant specialized certifications based on departmental needs. Skills needed: Critical thinking, effective communication, ability to work under stress, and independent judgment.
