Responsibilities
- Providing patient care within a specialized clinical setting.
- Ensuring compliance with department-specific credentials and certifications.
- Administering chemotherapy, requiring ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certification, and APHON certification within specified timelines.
- Maintaining advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and NRP depending on the unit, with timeframes for acquisition if needed.
- Completing required fetal monitoring credentials for L&D nurses.
- Participating in RN fellowship programs, which require one year of independent practice and certifications like ACLS and BLS.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
- Relevant certifications based on clinical area.
- Ability to work effectively in stressful situations with minimal supervision.
