RN Shift Supervisor - FT Nights

Responsibilities

• Supervise all nursing personnel and nursing related functions on a specific shift
• Assess staffing and resident needs and direct care
• Serve as a role model for staff through provision of safe, effective, and efficient nursing care
• Supervise clinical aspects of nursing
• Manage day-to-day operations of Nursing Department
• Interface with others to ensure efficient unit operations
• Seek opportunities for personal growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred
• Must have 1-3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills (a plus)
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility
• Must possess a current CPR license
