Responsibilities
- Build meaningful connections with residents and their families.
- Guide and inspire the nursing staff to provide exceptional care.
- Create a supportive environment that fosters a sense of belonging for everyone involved.
- Support team growth and collaboration to ensure high-quality care.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to nursing staff.
- Lead by example, demonstrating compassion and dedication.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
- Experience as a Charge Nurse or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Ability to relate positively to residents, families, and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Supervise staff in day-to-day operations.
- Function as floor nurse as needed.
- Capable of maintaining regular weekend attendance.
- Work cooperatively to obtain resident care objectives.
- Maintain compliance with local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
RN Requirements
- Current RN license in State.
- Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
- At least one year of experience as an RN in a Long-Term Care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.
