About the role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor, you will play a vital role in our long-term care facility, responsible for:

  • Overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care according to their individual care plans and state regulations.
  • Collaborating with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Responding to emergencies and medical situations as needed, providing timely and appropriate interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care according to their individual care plans and state regulations.
  • Coinciding and delegating nursing assignments based on staff qualifications and resident needs.
  • Providing guidance and support to nursing staff, including mentoring new hires, and providing ongoing training and education.
  • Collaborating with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Responding to emergencies and medical situations as needed, providing timely and appropriate interventions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid RN license in the state of PA.
  • PR certification required.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
