Your Impact as an RN in a PSI Supported School

You’ll play a vital role in keeping students healthy, safe, and ready to learn — while providing reassurance to families and staff. As a Registered Nurse in a school clinic, you bring clinical expertise to support student wellness, respond to health concerns, and help create a safe learning environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day nursing care in the school clinic
  • Administer medications and monitor student health needs
  • Assess and respond to illness or injury
  • Support communicable disease prevention protocols
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality (HIPAA/FERPA compliance)
  • Utilize clinical judgment to evaluate student health concerns and determine appropriate care

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Ohio RN License (Required)
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
  • Pediatric, school, or community health experience preferred (not required)
  • Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
  • Basic knowledge of medication administration and communicable disease prevention
  • Current or willingness to obtain BLS / CPR / First Aid (role dependent)
