About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join an interdisciplinary team, providing expert nursing care through the application of the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient status via interviews, observations, and physical exams.
• Developing individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Implementing interventions to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Evaluating and documenting patient progress, modifying care plans as needed.
• Ensuring accurate documentation and demonstrating professional accountability.
• Maintaining technical equipment knowledge and troubleshooting issues.
• Promoting evidence-based practices and supporting team development through informal teaching.
• Ensuring patient safety, obtaining lab specimens, and performing bedside testing in compliance with policies.
• Coordinating care with team members, utilizing resources, and advocating for patients when necessary.
• Providing patient education tailored to individual needs, considering cultural, age, and developmental factors.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and process enhancements.
• Fostering high team performance and effective communication within the healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Nursing diploma
