About the Role

Provides professional nursing care to patients by applying the nursing process, promoting evidence-based practices, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
• Develop and modify individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Implement interventions to achieve expected outcomes and evaluate patient progress continuously.
• Document care activities accurately and demonstrate professional accountability through ongoing self-development.
• Operate and troubleshoot medical equipment, perform bedside lab testing, and ensure quality control.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care, prioritize tasks based on patient needs, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Provide patient education tailored to age, cultural, and developmental needs, ensuring safety and understanding.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and process enhancements to improve patient satisfaction and care standards.

Requirements

• Licensed RN with current certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Nursing diploma or equivalent.
