About the role
Provides patient care using the nursing process and Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework, ensuring professional accountability, patient rights, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates patient care with other departments
- Maintains high standards of care
- Utilizes appropriate certifications as required by the unit
Requirements
- Graduation from a nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license
- Basic Life Support certification
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, PALS, or unit-specific credentials may be required
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Stand, walk, reach, bend, and kneel
- Perform physical tasks needed for patient care
