About the Role
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process within a supportive framework, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained. Coordinates care with other departments and maintains professional accountability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective nursing care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Uphold patient rights
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with licensure and certification standards
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Holds an active RN license and meets state requirements
- Maintains Basic Life Support certification
- Acquires additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, ENPC) as required by the department
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, and kneeling
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adherence to safety protocols
