Role Overview

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process and conceptual framework, ensuring professional accountability, patient rights, and confidentiality. Coordinates care with other departments to deliver comprehensive nursing services.

Key Duties

• Providing direct patient care, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
• Coordinating care across departments
• Administering nursing care and maintaining patient safety
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to meet patient needs
• Ensuring adherence to policies and standards
• Maintaining required certifications
• Ensuring ongoing certification and physical readiness for the role

Qualifications & Skills

• Approved nursing degree (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, ENPC, or department-specific credentials may be required
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements
