About the role

The Wound Care Registered Nurse at BayCare is responsible for delivering specialized wound and ostomy care to inpatients across multiple hospital locations. This position involves applying the nursing process and clinical standards, delegating appropriate patient care activities, and promoting evidence-based clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Delivers specialized wound and ostomy care to inpatients
• Applies the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Serves Winter Haven Hospital, Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist Hospital, and BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel
• Floated between the four hospitals as needed

Requirements

• RN license is required
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Experience in any setting with 2 years of RN experience

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing

Skills

• Specialized knowledge of wound and ostomy care
• Strong clinical skills
• Effective delegation and communication skills
