RN - Registered Nurse - Placement Services

Position Overview: This role involves coordinating patient flow, managing inpatient capacity, and ensuring efficient transfers between facilities by collaborating with physicians and nursing staff. The nurse will supervise personnel within Patient Placement, assist with onboarding new employees, and promote high morale and professional practice. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate patient placement and inpatient capacity management in compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.Serve as a role model, fostering effective communication, resource utilization, and quality patient care.Supervise and support staff, including orientation and professional development.Communicate operational issues and capacity status to relevant personnel and escalate as needed.Prioritize resources, monitor occupancy trends, and plan for elective admissions.Participate in policy development and interpret regulations for staff and patients.Support emergency protocols and serve as an administrative representative for capacity issues. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of three years RN experience.RN license in the relevant state.Strong leadership, communication, and planning skills.Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to dynamic healthcare environments. Educational Requirement: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
