About the role

This position involves managing patient flow and inpatient capacity by coordinating transfers with physicians and nursing staff, ensuring timely and appropriate patient placement in compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to facilitate smooth patient transfers and placements.
• Supervise personnel within Patient Placement, assist with onboarding, and promote team morale.
• Monitor occupancy trends, plan for elective admissions, and prioritize resource allocation.
• Communicate effectively with staff and leadership regarding capacity issues and operational updates.
• Participate in policy development, emergency procedures, and professional practice advancement.
• Serve as an administrative representative, ensuring compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• RN license in the relevant state.
• Minimum of three years' experience in patient placement or related field.

• Strong leadership, communication, and resource management skills.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment, adapt to dynamic situations, and follow protocols.
