About the role

This role focuses on coordinating patient flow, working closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient transfers and appropriate patient placement. It emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, professional growth, and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient transfers and inpatient capacity in coordination with medical teams.
• Supervise personnel within Patient Placement and assist with onboarding new employees.
• Communicate effectively with staff and other departments, escalating issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Prioritize resources based on bed availability and occupancy trends.
• Participate in policy development and interpret regulations for staff and patients.
• Support emergency procedures and foster team morale.
• Serve as an administrative representative, providing feedback and reporting capacity issues to leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years RN experience required.
• Licensed as an RN in the state of PA.

Skills

• Strong communication, leadership, and resource management skills.
• Ability to coordinate patient flow and manage inpatient capacity effectively.
