The Mount Carmel Nurses are the heartbeat of our health system, offering opportunities for both new graduates and experienced nurses. The Mount Carmel Grove City Labor and Delivery/Mother Infant unit provides care from labor through postpartum, newborn care, and beyond.
About The Unit
- 9 labor rooms
- 4 triage rooms
- 4 PACU bays on L&D
- 18 private rooms on Mother Infant
- Care for new moms and newborns
- Support moms through pregnancy loss
- Provide patient education and discharge planning

What You Will Do
- Assess and evaluate patient care
- Assist providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments
- Perform basic medical procedures under supervision
- Administer medications under provider direction
- Aid in emergency situations
- Thoroughly educate and explain procedures to patients and families
- Document patient care accurately and completely
- Supervise other members of the patient care team
What We Are Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in Ohio
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Demonstrated ability to manage patient care
- Basic computer skills, especially for EMR use
