Position located at Bartow Regional Medical Center – Medical/Surgical ICU, Bartow, Florida. Full‑time position. Responsibilities

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Cares for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
• Monitors, records, and updates the care team on patient vitals and assessments
• Identifies sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Responds to medical emergencies for critical patients
• Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
• Uses high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience, including simplifying medical terminology and concepts for patients
• Maintains professional accountability and pursues ongoing development

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's in Nursing
• 1‑year RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

Pay

Sign‑On Bonus Available – based on years of ICU RN experience.

Schedule

Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM; every other weekend required; on‑call not required; always in‑person.
