RN Registered Nurse FT Night Shift Well baby

About the role
The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for the general supervision and coordination of activities of nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care. This individual will utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions. The RN will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in the planning and implementation of patient care. Additional duties may be assigned within the scope of the role.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel activities on assigned shift

- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Active RN licensure required
- BLS certification required
- Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.) may be required depending on assigned area

Working Conditions
- Sitting for 20% of the workday; mobility required for 80% of the workday
- Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Frequent reaching, use of hands, and repetitive actions
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds; pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds
- Continuous need for clear speaking and hearing sensitivity in conversations (phone or in-person)
- Continuous visual acuity at close and distant ranges
- Inside environment protected from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes
- Minimal noise levels; frequent computer work
- Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock
- Some exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous chemicals, and radiation

- Full-time, night shift (third shift)
