Registered Nurse (RN) *Night Shift*

As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure the highest quality of resident care, support staff, and build relationships with residents and their families. This role is pivotal in delivering on our values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results.

Responsibilities

• Assume authority, responsibility, and accountability for resident care.
• Receive and review reports at the beginning of each shift.
• Assess the physical and emotional status of each resident and evaluate their care needs.
• Delegate direct care responsibilities to nursing personnel based on resident needs and staff ability.
• Oversee all phases of direct resident care within the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act.
• Ensure nursing staff perform all restorative measures in the plan of care.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist physicians on rounds and communicate resident status and emergencies.
• Plan and supervise the working schedule for education, performance evaluations, and oversight of nursing personnel.
• Maintain complete and timely resident charts and care plans with descriptive entries.
• Write daily nursing notes for skilled residents and monthly summary notes for each resident.
• Execute all physician orders, including lab tests, therapy orders, and medication administration.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
• Completion of company orientation.
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Satisfactory evidence of identity and employment eligibility within three days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
