Registered Nurse (RN), night shift

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse utilizes a general understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills in the development and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure the needs of patients are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the orientation and supervision of Nursing personnel
• Attend to the daily operations of the unit on a per-shift, unit level
• Assume responsibilities of a leadership role as needed

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License issued in the state where the person will practice
• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing
• Possess physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
• Experience in a supervisory capacity
