RN - Registered Nurse - Ambulatory PAT/PreOp/PACU

About the Role

This position is based at Bardmoor Surgery Center in Largo, FL. This is a full-time, in-person role with variable Monday-Friday shifts and no on-call requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide proficient care for a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
• Act as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• Take responsibility for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Act as a mentor and resource expert, supporting and sharing organizational information to all team members
• Perform the role of preceptor and charge nurse

Requirements

• Minimum of two years RN experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• RN (Registered Nurse) license
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) certification
• PALS certification, if required
• Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Nursing preferred
• At least 1 year of Critical Care or PACU experience as an RN preferred
• RN PACU experience strongly preferred for consideration
• Preferred experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship
