RN - Registered Nurse - Ambulatory PreOp/PACU (Part-Time)

Location: BayCare Trinity Surgery Center, 2020 Trinity Oaks Blvd, New Port Richey, FL 34655

Status: Part-Time

Shift: Variable

Summary

The Ambulatory PreOp/PACU RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years RN experience
• At least 1 year RN experience in Critical Care, Endoscopy, or PreOp and PACU areas is strongly preferred
• PACU experience is very strongly preferred for this role
• This is a Part-Time position set for 40 hours per bi-weekly pay period

Preferred Nurse Specialty Education

• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
• PREFERRED: Bachelor's Nursing
