RN - Registered Nurse - Acute Pain - Part-Time

Job Duties
- Works directly with the Anesthesia team and OR team.
- Dedicated to OSW and provides cross coverage at GMC when volume dictates.
- Provides comprehensive patient-centered pain management to optimize recovery, including multimodal pain management and opioid-sparing techniques.
- Oversees minor sedation events, continually monitoring the pain management plan for the patient, in collaboration with the Anesthesiologist.
- Role is 24 hours weekly; 8-hours shifts; 630a - 12p; hours can vary based on case volume.
- Location will be primarily at OSW within the Pre / Post and OR.
- Sedation Certification required within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities
- Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year-Related work experience (Preferred)
- Certification(s) and License(s): Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania; Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
