What You'll Do
- C Conduct physical assessments for youth within 24 hours of admission.
- B Provide medical consultation and guidance to Assessment Center staff.
- C Respond to youth medical needs, including sick calls, routine assessments, and triage of injuries and illnesses.
- D Oversee medication administration practices and record-keeping protocols.
- E Collaborate with program leadership to review and improve healthcare procedures.
- F Serve as a liaison between the Assessment Center and community healthcare providers.
- G Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- H Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director.
Qualifications
- A Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- B Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least one (1) year of nursing experience; OR Associate Degree in Nursing and at least two (2) years of nursing experience.
- C Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- D Ability to obtain approval under MHC's insurance requirements.
