Compensation Range: $89,000 - $95,000 (based on years of experience)

Responsibilities

• Review and approve all patient information submitted by the Licensed Professional (LP) during a start of care, re-certification, resumption of care, or evaluation visit
• Partner with branch leadership to provide ongoing education and training to all branch LPs to ensure staff understand documentation requirements in an effort to meet regulatory standards and to keep staff abreast of changes
• Meet one-on-one with individual LPs to provide in-depth training when necessary
• Promote quality patient care; ensure stable relationships with referral sources, patients, caregivers and employees

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing or physical therapy
• Valid clinical license per state requirements to complete this job in accordance with applicable board’s rules
• Minimum of one year of experience (experience as a licensed professional may be deferred with review and approval from the vice president operations or regional president)
• Previous experience in a Medicare home health or hospice setting
• CPR certification, as required by position
• Valid state driver license in the current state of residence
• Automobile liability insurance, as required by law
• Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device
• Dependable transportation in good working condition and ability to safely drive in all types of weather conditions
• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills, especially Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

Preferred:

• Previous experience with packet review / quality improvement
• Previous experience with coding
• Previous experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
