About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in the Mother/Baby Unit. The RN will care for postpartum mothers and newborns, supporting family bonding, maternal health, and managing postpartum and pregnancy-related conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for mother-baby couplets
- Monitor and manage postpartum and neonatal conditions
- Support and educate patients and families during postpartum recovery
- Support breastfeeding
- Promote safe recovery
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
- NRP certification (required prior to orientation completion)
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience in Mother/Baby care
Schedule
This is a PRN position scheduled for 12-hour night shifts as needed.
