Mother Baby Unit - RN - (PRN)

About the role

Madisonhealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in the Postpartum (Mother Baby) setting. The role involves assessment and planning for individualized patient care, effective communication with physicians regarding changes in patients' clinical condition, and quick, accurate responses to changes in condition or treatment response. The RN will perform general nursing duties and participate in performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Postpartum unit.
• Assess and plan individualized patient care.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with physicians about changes in patients' clinical condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in the department.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, MS Publisher (or equivalent), and PowerPoint.
• Proven integrity, respect, and initiative.

Cerner experience is preferred.
