About the Role

This position provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. The role involves assessing patients, administering medications, delivering age-appropriate care, and educating patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Conducts accurate patient assessments based on medical conditions.
• Administers prescribed medications and performs treatments using nursing knowledge and skills.
• Develops and evaluates patient and family education plans, including psychosocial support and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Promotes patient safety, cost-effective practices, and resource management.
• Prioritizes patient needs and maintains a focus on quality care and lifelong learning.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications include ACLS/PALS.
