About the role

Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to promote patient health, dignity, and autonomy. Performs general nursing duties, including patient assessments, medication administration, education, and prioritization of care. Maintains safety standards and demonstrates ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and provide age-appropriate care.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.
• Utilize nursing knowledge for treatments and procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist physicians with procedures requiring technical skills.
• Address psychosocial needs and coordinate post-discharge support with social services.
• Practice cost-effective resource management.
• Prioritize patient safety and minimize harm.
• Commit to lifelong professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications.
