About the role
Seeking a compassionate registered nurse for a PRN role in a diverse surgical med-surg unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care following established policies and procedures.
- Use nursing standards to enhance care quality and patient outcomes.
- Develop personalized care plans through assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
- Foster a positive work environment by mentoring colleagues and students.
- Apply evidence-based practices tailored to patient needs.
- Perform point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to various sensory inputs.
- State-specific licensure requirements, including compact state options.
