About the role

Provides direct and indirect patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to promote patient health, dignity, and autonomy. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritizes care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their condition.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Deliver age-appropriate care, including basic self-care activities.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.
• Perform treatments and assist with procedures, demonstrating technical skills.
• Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.
• Practice cost-effective resource utilization.
• Prioritize patient safety and quality care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Skills

• Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications.
