RN-Med/Surg Observation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in various settings
• Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
• Assess patients accurately and administer medications as prescribed
• Provide age-appropriate care
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans
• Demonstrate clinical skills and assist with procedures
• Address psychosocial needs of patients
• Ensure safety by minimizing risks
• Prioritize patient care effectively
• Promote safety and practice cost-efficiently
• Engage in lifelong learning and professional development

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire
• Computer literacy

Skills

• Preferred certifications include ACLS and PALS
