About the role

This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in various care settings. The role requires collaboration with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, and patient education. The nurse must demonstrate critical thinking, technical skills, and effective communication to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.
• Assist physicians with procedures and manage technical tasks.
• Address psychosocial needs and coordinate post-discharge care.
• Practice cost-effectiveness and promote patient safety.
• Prioritize patient care efficiently and uphold patient rights and dignity.
• Commit to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy; additional certifications like ACLS/PALS are preferred.
