RN - Pre/Post Surgery

Job Summary

You will be working at University Hospital as a 100% FTE, 8/10 hour day/evening shift with hours ranging between 7:30am-8:30pm. No weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We Are Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) To Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric perioperative patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient's responses to care based on effectiveness of nursing interventions/actions in relationship to established goals.
• Work in various surgical patient populations.
• Have moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience.
• Have emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience.
• Have 1 year or more of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
• 6 months of RN experience Required
• 1 year or more of RN experience Preferred
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations
