RN - Pre/Post Op

Job Summary

Provides general nursing care in diverse, acute healthcare settings, working 24/7. The RN practices per Ohio Board standards, delegating tasks appropriately, and assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, self-care, and treatment compliance (30%)
• Develops care plans (30%)
• Implements and evaluates interventions (20%)
• Participates in process improvements (10%)
• Contributes to operations (10%)

Works within a safety-focused, high-reliability environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of hospital RN experience, preferably in Pre/Post, Endoscopy, or Critical Care
• Must commit to call responsibilities
