RN-PACU (Per Diem, Varied)

Compensation Range: $55.93 - $79.75 per hour, based on applicable experience.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.

• Shift length: 8 hours
• Days off: Variable
• Hours per pay period: 12

Requirements

• 18 months current/recent critical care experience
• Basic Arrhythmia or equivalent (within one year of hire)
• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Current ACLS certification
• PALS recognition within one year

Qualifications (Desired)

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field
• Current experience in a Perianesthesia setting
• Certified Peri-Anesthesia nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA)

• Willingness to actively participate in continuing education programs, unit-based QI task forces, and preceptor programs
• Ability to perform as a preceptor in the training of students and act as a department resource and positive role model
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
