PACU RN - Per Diem

About the role

Provides specialized nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as a Registered Nurse (RN). Must work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety as priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Promote patient and family-centered care
• Educate on post-treatment management
• Ensure communication across care teams
• Participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and teams
• Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural backgrounds

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate's degree required
• RN license essential
• Bachelor’s degree and
• No prior experience necessary
• Prior PACU, ED, or ICU experience preferred
