As Lahey continues to grow, we are seeking experienced and qualified nurses for our Pre-Admissions Testing Department. Our nurses enjoy caring for a diverse patient population from the areas of general surgery, transplant, orthopedic, neurology, cardiac, oncology and urology. The nursing staff enjoys active collaboration with a variety of multidisciplinary services. The Pre-Admissions Testing nurses thrive in an atmosphere of rapid patient turnover to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center utilizes complete computerized charting (EPIC) for patient assessment and care documentation, and to electronically record medication administration for the delivery of all medications provided to their patients. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is a teaching hospital with a staff of over 4,000 and 345 beds. Conveniently located in Burlington, MA – north of Boston and south of Manchester, NH with free parking; the Burlington Mall and many great restaurants are next door. Schedule

• Commitment: 24 hours per 4-week scheduling cycle
• Shift times: Staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM
• Coverage: Flexible shift options supporting the Main PACU with floating coverage to Ambulatory PACU

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred
• At least 1 year of previous nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting required
• 3+ years of Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred
• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
• PC skills
• Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs

Pay

Pay range: $37.00 - $95.37 per hour (base hourly wage range). Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
