About the role
Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in an ambulatory setting, including assessment, treatment, education, and support for diverse age groups. Serve as a clinical leader and mentor to staff, assist with complex procedures, and ensure adherence to policies and safety protocols. Document patient information accurately, manage medications, and support emergency measures when needed. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and promote patient empowerment through education. Maintain equipment and supplies, monitor safety conditions, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
- Assist physicians with procedures and complex treatments
- Document medical histories, lab results, and patient interactions
- Administer medications and routine treatments safely
- Support patient safety by following protocols and reporting concerns
- Mentor staff and participate in training and orientation
- Promote self-management and provide health education to patients and families
- Manage supplies, equipment, and environmental safety
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Preferred bilingual ability and experience in diverse healthcare settings
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in environments with chemical and equipment exposure
