RN - Outpatient

About the Role

Provide safe, comprehensive patient care in an ambulatory setting, demonstrating clinical leadership and mentorship to staff. Serve as a role model and educate patients and families on health topics. Assume relief charge duties under supervision, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and administer medications
• Support emergency measures and coordinate care across diverse age groups
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor supplies
• Report safety concerns and promote patient participation in care
• Adhere to patient-centered care principles
• Mentor staff and participate in training initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate of a recognized nursing program
• Licensed as an RN in New Mexico or eligible by reciprocity
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Experience in patient care
• Ability to perform heavy physical tasks
• Ability to work in environments with chemical or dangerous materials

Skills

• Bilingual abilities preferred but not essential
