About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) AIP provides direct patient care in perioperative, PACU, or operating room settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary team approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform top-of-scope nursing care, prioritizing patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Precept and mentor new staff, supporting ongoing education and competency validation.
• Contribute to a secure, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment.
• Support clinical education through specialized training standards.
• Provide perioperative and PACU care, adhere to standards set by professional organizations, and support safety and quality initiatives.

The role emphasizes professional growth, safety, and collaboration within a dynamic clinical setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure.
• Minimum 6 months of OR RN experience or completion of a fellowship program.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross.
