What You Will Do
- Position patients safely with attention to pressure injury prevention, nerve protection, and hemodynamic stability
- Absorb with rapid response to cardiac emergencies (e.g., malignant arrhythmias, acute hemorrhage, protamine reactions)
- Ensure availability and functionality of specialized CVOR equipment (e.g., sternal saws, transesophageal echo probes, hemodynamic monitors)
- Prepare and administer cardiac medications (e.g., vasopressors, antiarrhythmics) under physician direction
- Support cell saver, IABP, and ECMO setup/priming as needed
What You Need
- Active RN license in Florida
- BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years circulating experience in cardiac surgery (open heart, minimally invasive, robotics)
- Ability to take call
