About the role
The Heart Hospital – Plano is seeking a RN Nursing Manager, OR Shift: Full-time, Day, 06:30am -15:00pm M-F weekends and call TBD.
Responsibilities
- Create a supportive work environment for staff and unit personnel.
- Work closely with supervisors and nursing staff to reach department goals.
- Establish and share your vision for nursing practices within the unit.
- Ensure the establishment of effective processes and protocols, fostering best nursing practices and research.
- Facilitate the professional development of each team member, focusing on both clinical skills and leadership capabilities.
- Stay informed on new nursing research, best practices, and patient care models.
- Identify and address any ethical or clinical issues that may arise as a proactive problem solver.
Requirements
- Must be certified RNFA with a minimum of 3 years' experience with performing endovascular vein harvesting.
- Offering $15K Sign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) RN.
- Must be certified RNFA with minimum of (3) three years' prior experience in a relevant role.
- Basic life support certification (BLS) or ability to obtain within (30) thirty days of hire, is essential for this role.
