RN Nurse Manager - ICU

This is a full-time leadership position at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA. Our high acuity, 28-bed ICU works with Medical, Surgical, Cardiovascular and Neurological patients.

About the role

Accountable for the delivery of high-quality nursing care and for the administrative management of multiple nursing units and/or over 80 FTEs on a 24-hour basis. Fulfills all duties and responsibilities associated with the unit manager position. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient populations (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics) and participates in related continuing education. This role includes an Assistant Nurse Manager as a leadership partner.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-acuity, 28-bed ICU serving Medical, Surgical, Cardiovascular, and Neurological patients.
• Oversee administrative and clinical operations for nursing units with over 80 FTEs.
• Ensure high-quality nursing care delivery across assigned age-specific patient populations.
• Participate in continuing education related to patient care and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor's in progress.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NNR) - if employed in L&D, NICU, Nursery, or Postpartum upon hire.
• 3 years of recent clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Nursing Management experience (preferred).
• Strong background working as an RN in Critical Care (preferred).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $74.54 - $117.65 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
